*All additional accounting courses accepted by University of South Dakota will transfer in as electives only.

**If students have completed courses at Northeast Community College that they believe to be equivalent to specific required business courses at University of South Dakota, they may appeal the transfer process. The appeal does not begin until the student is enrolled in classes at USD. The Student Services Center in the School of Business will assist the student with the appeal. The appeal requires that the student submit a RED FORM and accompanying documentation including a syllabus with detailed chapter coverage, past examinations, papers written, and other classroom evidence for review by a faculty member teaching the challenged course. Validation through testing and/or topical conversation with faculty members may also be required.

***Transfer of Criminal Justice credits are contingent upon approval from the adviser based upon but not limited to approving credentials of instructors (Masters Degree and above in the criminal justice field and or related field with experience in Criminal Justice), approval of course content and texts used.

****Prior to Spring 2002, this course transferred as PHED 100, Lifetime Sports I, 1.0 with up to 2 credit hours transferring.
