Test takers will be required to pay the registration fee only once during a testing year. Beginning with the September 2007 test date, a test taker will only have to pay the registration fee the first time they register during the 2007-2008 testing year. Any subsequent registrations within the testing year will not require a registration fee and if test takers submit a registration fee when one is not required, that fee will automatically be refunded.
Emergency registration will replace standby testing. Unlike standby testing, emergency registration will guarantee the test taker a seat. Test takers who must take a paper/pencil test but have missed the regular and late registration deadline dates, will have an opportunity to use emergency registration up until the Friday one week prior to the test date. Emergency registration is available only by registering online, and the fee for this service will be $75.
On line registration is available at: http://www.ets.org/praxis
Prepare for the test: FREE download information on all Praxis tests, including: Detailed descriptions of each test, sample questions with rationale for the best answers, and helpful tips and test-taking strategies at http://www.ets.org/praxis. You may also purchase practice tests for many of the tests in the Praxis Series as well as comprehensive study guides.
Scores reports: The Praxis Series (paper-based) tests will be mailed in approximately four weeks after the test administration date. If you wish to obtain your scores earlier, you may choose to purchase the "Scores by Phone" service. (See Web site for details.)
