| Scholarships and Grants
Northeast Community College offers students a number of scholarships, tuition waivers, and performance grants established by the College, by the Northeast Community College Foundation, and private organizations and individuals. Qualifications, deadlines, and amounts vary.
The Northeast scholarship application process is separate from the federal and state aid application process. Student must complete an online scholarship application which is due by February 1st each year. When scholarships are need-based, the FAFSA on file is used to assist the NECC Scholarship Selection Committee in the selection of recipients.
New scholarships are frequently available during the academic year and information is placed on the website, in the racks outside the Financial Aid Office, and in the “What’s Happening” student newsletter.
