Welcome to my website. Are you looking for more efficient
solutions to life's challenges? As a business instructor at
Northeast Community College in Norfolk Nebraska, I am dedicated
to developing students' talents/skills and providing opportunities
for their achievement. As a fellow lifelong learner, I look
forward to assisting Northeast students achieve their goals.
My education degrees include a B.A.E. and M.S. from Wayne
State College. I have three years office occupations experience.
I have served as president of the Nebraska State Business
Education Association and continue on its executive board.
My memberships include: The National Business Education Association,
Nebraska Business Education Association, Association for Business
Communication, Delta Pi Epsilon, the Nebraska Council on the
Status of Women and the Midwest Institute.
During the summer of 2001, I was selected to participate
on a 30-day Fulbright Group project abroad to the Czech Republic
and Slovakia. I was part of a 15-member community college
team.
My goals as an educator include:
- Integrating international concepts and activities into the
business curriculum
- Preparing students for job application and successful job
experience
- Developing students' oral and written communication skills
- Motivating and energizing students to greater achievement
- Making learning a more enjoyable experience
- Developing self esteem and a positive attitude
